An emotional Brian O'Driscoll has thanked his fans for an "absolutely incredible" reception as he played his last ever international game on Irish soil.
The 35-year-old was awarded Man of the Match as Ireland thrashed Italy 46-7 in Dublin's Aviva Stadium.
O'Driscoll, who made his debut for Ireland in 1999, earned a world-record 140th cap in his final international appearance at the home of Irish rugby.
His last ever game in an Irish shirt is likely to take place in Paris next Saturday.
Affectionately known by his initials BOD, O'Driscoll is widely lauded as the best player Ireland has ever produced.
He spoke to the Irish state broadcaster, RTÉ.
