Man dies and five injured in Galway road crash

A man has died in a road crash in Clifden in County Galway.

Five other people who were travelling in the same car were hurt but their injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.

The 19-year-old died when the car left the road and overturned on the Inagh Road in Clifden at around 02:00 GMT on Sunday.

He was pronounced dead at the scene, and the road was closed for a police technical examination.
