Major fire at recycling centre in Dublin

The fire at Oxigen Recycling Plant Up to 14 units of the fire services are tackling the blaze at the Oxigen Recycling Plant

Firefighters are tackling a major fire at a recycling centre in Dublin.

The blaze started shortly after 03:00 GMT at the Oxigen Recycling Plant in Merrywell industrial estate, Clondalkin.

Up to 14 fire service units have been involved in trying to bring the fire under control.

Police have advised people in the area to keep windows closed due to the "toxicity of the burning material and strong winds".
