First meeting for Francois Hollande and Pope Francis

French President Francois Hollande, who is under pressure after reports he had been having an affair with an actress, is meeting Pope Francis in Rome.

It is Mr Hollande's first meeting with the pontiff since he was elected in 2012.

Vatican-watchers say the French president wants to reach out to disaffected Catholic voters.
