Ukraine protests: Kiev fireworks 'rain on police'

The European Union is pushing Ukraine to do away with anti-protest laws that were passed last week as violent clashes continue.

Police have fired tear gas rounds and rubber bullets at protesters who were throwing petrol bombs and stones.

The BBC's Daniel Sandford reports from Kiev where he said protesters threw fireworks at police officers.
