Greenpeace Russia Arctic protest: More activists bailed

21 November 2013 Last updated at 16:41 GMT

Twenty-three of the 30 people arrested over a Greenpeace protest against Arctic oil drilling have been granted bail in Russia.

Britons Frank Hewetson and Iain Rogers were approved by a judge in St Petersburg on Thursday, along with Ukrainian detainee Russian Yakushev.

Five of the six Britons detained have now been granted bail but Kieron Bryan, who appeared in court on Wednesday, was not released as expected.

Daniel Sandford explains that Australian Colin Russell is the only member of the group to have been refused bail so far.
