Rome sees violent clashes over high-speed train plan

There have been clashes in Rome between riot police and demonstrators opposed to a high-speed rail link.

Hundreds of people took to the streets to voice their anger at plans to connect the Italian city of Turin to Lyon, in France, using a 57km tunnel under the Alps.
