Protests outside Greek TV Studio

7 November 2013 Last updated at 14:16 GMT

Former staff and supporters of the one-time Greek state broadcaster ERT have gathered to protest against its clearing by police on Thursday morning.

Riot police cleared the building in an operation beginning at 04:30 local time, using tear gas to gain entry and arresting several people.

Former employees have occupied the building since the government closed ERT and sacked its 2,600 staff in June.

Mark Lowen reports from Athens.
