27 September 2013 Last updated at 13:53 BST

A Russian court has ruled that more than 20 Greenpeace activists including four from Britain should remain in jail for as long as two months, while an investigation continues into a protest against offshore drilling in the Arctic.

They were among 30 activists arrested when their vessel was boarded by the Russian authorities last week.

Daniel Sandford reports from Moscow.
