Costa Concordia salvagers: 'Everything is going to plan'

Salvagers attempting to lift the stricken cruise ship Costa Concordia say "everything is "going according to plan".

Project manager Sergio Girotto acknowledged that bad weather had delayed their efforts but said there were no problems.

Mr Girotto said he didn't expect their work to continue into the night but that darkness would not hamper efforts if it did.
