Russia cracks down on illegal immigrants

The Russian authorities have been carrying out a series of high-profile raids to find and deport foreign workers who are suspected of being in the country illegally.

Although Russians generally support what the police are doing, some suspect it is more of a publicity drive ahead of upcoming elections.
