Spain train crash: 'I was covered by seats and luggage'

25 July 2013 Last updated at 22:43 BST

A video posted online appears to show the moment a passenger train carrying more than 200 passengers derailed in north-west Spain on Wednesday, killing at least 80 people.

The video, shown online and by Spanish media, was recorded by a trackside camera apparently belonging to the country's national rail company.

More than 140 people were hurt, more than 30 seriously, after all eight carriages came off the tracks - at up to twice the speed limit according to some reports.

Christian Fraser reports from Santiago de Compostela.
