Man shot dead in north Dublin pub

A 25-year-old man has been shot dead in a pub in north Dublin.

Two masked men entered the Cabra House bar on Faussagh Avenue, Cabra at about 19:10 GMT on Sunday and fired a number of shots.

They escaped on a motorcycle, travelling towards the city centre.

The Irish state broadcaster, RTE, reported that the dead man was Paul Cullen, who had convictions for drug dealing and assault.

Police investigating the shooting have appealed for witnesses to contact them.
