Two men have been arrested in County Cork as part of a police investigation into dissident republican terrorism.
They were detained when gardai stopped a car in the Dean Rock area of Togher at about 16:00 GMT on Saturday.
Officers recovered two handguns at the scene.
Both men are being questioned at Togher Garda Station.
