Work starts on Pompeii restoration and protection project
A major project has been launched to restore and protect one of the world's greatest archaeological sites: the ruins of Pompeii.
Work has begun in a joint Italian government and European Union funded programme worth nearly $150m.
It comes after decades of neglect and mismanagement at the famous site.
