Russian ritual of jumping in ice water
Dozens of Russians have braved freezing temperatures and jumped into ice cold water to mark the Christian Orthodox day of Epiphany.
The ancient ritual, which commemorates the baptism of Jesus Christ, involves worshippers jumping into barrels of water that are first blessed by priests.
