Homeless and hungry in Athens queue for new year dinner
Hundreds of poor and homeless people in Greece's capital have spent New Year's Day queuing to get a free meal.
The special new year meal was organised by the municipality of Athens to help those struggling to cope with the economic crisis that has brought high unemployment and homelessness.
