Catalan town divided over independence ahead of crucial elections

Vilafranca del Penedes - a wine-growing region just 50km from Barcelona - is one of more than 100 Catalan towns and villages that have declared themselves symbolically free and sovereign Catalan territory.

Catalans will vote in key regional elections on 25 November in which the question of whether there should be a referendum for independence from Spain will be answered.

BBC Mundo's Pablo Esparza reports.
