Two men have been killed following a light aircraft crash near Birr in County Offaly in the Irish Republic.
Emergency services were notified after a member of the public witnessed a two-seater private aircraft crash land shortly before 17:00 GMT on Sunday.
The wreckage of the aircraft was located at 18:30 GMT in a remote area near Crinkle.
It was found by the Irish police helicopter and search and rescue services personnel.
