Three dead in Halloween crush in Spain

Three women have died and two more people are critically ill following a crush at a Halloween party at the Madrid Arena in Spain.

It was not immediately known what caused the stampede, but reports suggest the panic began after a flare was thrown in the crowd.

Fernando Prados, chief of the emergency group Samur, described how his team tried to resuscitate the victims.

"We performed CPR on all five of them,'' he told reporters.
