How Denmark has become Europe's capital for 'quickie' weddings
Small towns and villages in southern Denmark have earned the nickname "Europe's Las Vegas" for offering quick, fuss-free wedding ceremonies to couples coming from Germany.
Going through the necessary steps to get married in Germany can take months, particularly if one partner is from another country.
While German authorities argue they are simply taking both German laws and the national law of the foreign citizen into account, some couples are not willing to wait.
