Greece strike: Rioters take on police in Athens general strike protest
Tens of thousands of people have gathered outside Greece's parliament as part of a day-long general strike to protest against new austerity measures.

The BBC's Mark Lowen in Athens says the strike has brought the whole country to a standstill. He described the scene as clashes erupted between police and some protesters.
