Lufthansa has cancelled two thirds of its flights as a strike by cabin crew gets under way.

Workers at six major German airports have walked out for 24 hours, in a dispute over pay and outsourcing.

It is the third and biggest strike in eight days and follows the breakdown of 13 months of contract negotiations.

The BBC's Berlin correspondent Steve Evans reports.
