Russian space junk 'a health hazard'

Help

Toxic debris from Russian space rockets is being blamed for various illnesses in the Altai region of Siberia.

Every time a rocket is launched, in this part of eastern Siberia, the discarded rocket stages land in the surrounding fields and forests.

People who live here are concerned about the possible health risks from these discarded parts.
