Norway police criticised over Anders Breivik killings

An official inquiry in Norway has concluded that the bomb attack by Anders Behring Breivik could have been prevented and the police could have reacted faster to the mass killings on Utoeya Island.

Breivik has admitted carrying out the twin attacks in July last year that killed 77 people and wounded more than 240 others.

Alexandra Bech Gjoerv, the leader of the independent commission that carried out the inquiry, outlined their six main findings.
