Children freed in raid on Russian underground sect
Police have found 27 children and 38 adults living in a bunker with little light, heat or ventilation underneath a house in Russia's republic of Tatarstan.
The discovery was made when authorities raided a building belonging to Faizrakhman Sattarov, the self-proclaimed prophet of a breakaway Muslim sect, who reportedly wanted to build his own Islamic caliphate beneath the ground.
Four members of the sect have now been charged with cruelty against children.
Aziz Nuritoff reports.
