France: Roma camps dismantled near Lille
French police have dismantled two illegal Roma gypsy camps following a pledge from the new government that action would be taken.
The camps, near Lille, were closed on Thursday, following similar moves in Paris and the Lyon.
More than 200 east European Roma were put on a flight to Bucharest after agreeing to return to Romania voluntarily.
