Greeks handed out free food packages

Help

Over two thousand packages full of aubergines, peppers and tomatoes from southern Crete were distributed in central Athens park for those in need.

The action was initiated and carried out by Greek farmers willing to support their fellow citizens in the times of economic hardship.

Tom Santorelli reports.
