Murder inquiry into man's death near Letterkenny

GardaĆ­ have begun a murder investigation following the death of a man in County Donegal.

The death of Seamus Doherty, 67, early on Sunday at Churchill, near Letterkenny, was initially treated as a sudden death.

However, the case was upgraded to a murder inquiry after a post mortem examination was carried out on Tuesday.

The scene was cordoned off while forensic tests were carried out.
