2012 Olympic flame lit in Greece ahead of London Games
The Olympic flame has been lit in Greece, at the start of a journey that will take it to London in time for the opening of the Games in July.
The president of the International Olympic Committee, Jacques Rogge, and the head of the team organising the London Games, Lord Coe, were at the ceremony at Olympia.
Lord Coe told those at the lighting ceremony the timing of the London Games was significant.
