Ukraine's jailed opposition leader and former PM Yulia Tymoshenko has said she will call off her 19-day hunger strike, her daughter has said.
Earlier, Ukraine had cancelled the summit of central and eastern European leaders that it was supposed to be hosting this week, with many heads of state withdrawing in protest at the treatment of the imprisoned opposition leader.
Yulia Tymoshenko has now agreed to be moved to hospital to receive treatment from her German doctor, Lutz Harms, as Jonathan Josephs reports.
