Norway shooter Anders Breivik appears in court in Norway
Anders Breivik, who killed 77 people in a bombing and mass shooting in Norway, has appeared in court in Oslo.
Unlike in previous hearings, the 32-year-old right-wing extremist allowed himself to be photographed and filmed before proceedings began.
Breivik has admitted setting off a bomb in the capital, Oslo, before travelling to the lake island of Utoeya where he shot young activists of the governing Labour Party who were attending a summer camp.
He told the court he deserved a medal of honour for the attacks. His full trial is scheduled to begin in April.
