Freezing weather in Europe kills at least 60 people

Help

This week's cold snap in eastern and central Europe has now killed at least 60 people.

The drop in temperatures has forced some countries to deploy the army and set up emergency shelters.

At least 30 people, mostly homeless, have died in Ukraine.

Tom Esslemont reports.
