CCTV cameras reel in Ireland's fish poachers

Help

New technology is being used in Ireland to try to prevent one of the oldest crimes of fish poaching.

Concealed CCTV cameras are being installed at a number of rivers and lakes to try to stop poachers in their tracks.

A successful pilot scheme using the cameras has already led to a number of prosecutions.

Mark Simpson reports.
