Costa Concordia ship is combed for survivors

As rescuers try to reach survivors on the stricken ship, the Costa Concordia, the BBC's Bethany Bell reports from the port of Santo Stefano on the search ''above and below'' the cruise ship.

Three people are so far confirmed dead and about 40 are unaccounted for.

Police are investigating why the accident happened in calm conditions.
