Dutch Catholic sex abuse exposed

An independent commission in the Netherlands has revealed tens of thousands of children suffered sexual abuse in Catholic institutions since 1945.

The report, based on more than 1,000 accounts received from alleged victims, says Church officials failed to adequately deal with the abuse or help those affected.
