Nato membership eludes Georgia's President Saakashvili

The head of Nato is visiting the former Soviet republic of Georgia.

Georgia's West-leaning government wants to move away from Russia's sphere of influence and join the US-led military alliance.

Russia still sees Nato as a potential security threat and therefore objects.

Damien McGuinness reports from Tbilisi.
