Italy's cabinet is holding an emergency meeting to try and push through measures aimed at calming the markets, and bringing down the country's borrowing costs.
Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi is fighting to save both his own reputation, and to stop Italy from being the next victim of the eurozone debt crisis.
