Russia celebrates Vladimir Putin's birthday
Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin is marking his 59th birthday, with celebrations taking place all over the country.
On Thursday evening, young supporters in 15 cities across Russia came out to record a national birthday greeting for him.
But critics say the celebrations are a sign of Mr Putin's insecurity, suggesting his team feel pressured to produce positive images of him.
