Irish PM attacks on Roman Catholic hierarchy

The Irish Prime Minister has launched an unprecedented attack on the Roman Catholic hierarchy.

Enda Kenny accused the Vatican of putting the power and reputation of the Church ahead of child rape victims. He said the latest inquiry into the cover-up of clerical sexual abuse exposed an institution that was dysfunctional and elitist.
