Migrants to be moved from Lampedusa

The unrest in North Africa has seen thousands of migrants from Libya and Tunisia flee to Lampedusa, an Italian island in the Mediterranean.

So many landed in Lampedusa, it caused a humanitarian crisis. Now a massive operation to evacuate the island is due to be finalised.
