Russian rocket blasts off
The Russian Soyuz spacecraft has launched carrying new crew members bound for the International Space Station.
An American astronaut and two Russian cosmonauts were on board, when it left the launch pad in Baikonur in Kazakhstan. Once the US shuttle fleet is retired next year, the Soyuz will be the only way for Americans to go into orbit.
