A spokesman for Naomi Campbell has defended the model after actress Mia Farrow's evidence at Charles Taylor's war crimes trial contradicted that given by Ms Campbell.

Alan Edwards said there were a number of discrepancies in Ms Farrow's evidence, saying "there were a lot of different versions of events during the last couple of hours".

He added that Ms Campbell "co-operated fully" and there had been "a real misunderstanding" about her willingness to testify.
