Rescue as Sydney monorail fails amid soaring heat
Dozens of people had to be rescued from a monorail train in Sydney, Australia, when an apparent power cut left two carriages stranded.
Police and firefighters used a cherry-picker crane to reach the carriages, before forcing open the doors.
Paramedics told ABC News that temperatures in the carriages soared to 40C (104F).
