Thailand floods 'a national crisis'
Flood defences held firm in Bangkok over the weekend despite high tides, raising hopes that parts of the city would be spared from flooding that has caused devastation across Thailand.
But many suburbs in the Thai capital remain under water and the BBC's Rachel Harvey says the country faces a national crisis.
Floods have inundated over than a third of the country's provinces since July, killing more than 370 people.
