Sorrow of freed Burmese comedian Zarganar

Help

The Burmese government has freed more than 180 political prisoners as part of a general amnesty, according to activists.

A popular comedian and dissident, Zarganar, was among the first to be freed. Some monks and journalists were also released.

Speaking to the BBC, Zarganar said he was coming to terms with his release but could not be happy as many of his friends remain detained.
