Japan to decommission nuclear plant
Japan is to decommission four stricken reactors at the quake-hit Fukushima nuclear plant.
Tokyo Electric Power, Tepco, made the announcement three weeks after failing to bring reactors 1 - 4 under control.
The plant was damaged by the March 11 earthquake and tsunami, and harmful levels of radiation have been detected in the area.
The BBC's Mark Worthington said the announcement comes as it emerged the president of Tepco had been taken hospital.
