Japan earthquake: Fires follow tsunami

Fires have broken out in several areas of Japan following a massive earthquake and tsunami.

The 8.9-magnitude tremor struck about 400km (250 miles) north-east of Tokyo, triggering a tsunami.

Fire has engulfed swathes of coastland, including homes and buildings, at Kesennuma city in Miyagi.
