Tropical escape inside the world's tallest tent

Kazakhstan's new capital Astana is a futuristic town built in the middle of the steppe just over a decade ago.

But despite all its impressive modern architecture Astana is one of the coldest capitals in the world - temperature often drops to -30C in the winter.

This year Kazakhstan unveiled one of its most ambitious projects, a giant transparent tent which allows visitors to enjoy summer weather in the middle of the winter.

Rayhan Demytrie visited the Khan Shatyri venue to see what else it had to offer.
