Rural India's battle against sexual violence
There is growing alarm over a series of brutal gang rapes in the northern Indian state of Haryana, with 11 attacks reported in the past month alone.
Statements made by traditional village councils - some of which have suggested that rape could be avoided if women were married at a younger age - are also a source of concern.
